FairyTale Love Charm

Ingredients:

This magickal Spell is designed to attract one, the lover of their dreams, so to live "happily ever after." I originally created  this spell, due to some negatiive remarks made about myself in the press, referring to me as "reading way too many fairytale books." Thanks for the idea my lovely critics, this spell is a delightful addition to my magickal work! I have shared this spell with many, and its results are delightful. Gather the ingredients of this spell to a quiet place, where you will be undisturbed. With the red pen write a small fairytale on the parchment, a delightful story of how you may find or meet your true love.  Slice the Apple in half revealing the star of seeds in the center.  Gaze upon the magickal star and state aloud,

"Happily Ever After, I shall be, magickal star, near or far, bring my Prince/ess charming to me."

Fold the parchment three times, add three drops of the "Happily Ever After Potion" onto the paper and place it in between the apple. Tie the pink ribbon around the apple binding the parchment inside.  Keep the apple charm next to your bed for nine days, on the ninth day bring the apple to river or to the ocean, discard it into the water and state aloud,

"Once Upon a Time, a story was sown, to find my Prince/ess Charming and bring them home. Day by Day, Hour by Hour, I infuse this enchantment with magickal power, So mote it be."

Coconut House Blessing Spell

Ingredients:
  • one fresh coconut
  • one teaspoon dirt from the crossroads
  • one teaspoon cinnamon bark
  • one teaspoon sea salt
  • four nails
  • four white candle
  • a compass
  • a sharp knife

The coconut and coconut palm, is commonly used in many forms of  Caribbean Magick. This spell is cast using simple and ordinary tools to rid one's home from negative or otherwise unwanted energies. Gather the ingredients of this spell to a quiet place where you will be undisturbed. Cut the top of the coconut in half, be sure to keep the coconut water inside.  Place the coconut on the floor in the center of your home.

At each directional (using the compass) place a white candle.  Going counterclockwise light the candles, beginning in the east, while stating aloud,

“Spirits of Good, I call for you magick and power here, to cleanse and protect my home and all those I love dear.  Keep away harm and surround this place with good light, this spell is cast and sent in flight. So mote it be.”

Place the crossroad dirt, cinnamon bark, and salt into the water filled coconut, and state aloud,

“May this spell’s power do no ill, may it be cast with a positive will, keeping away, evil and harm, I bless this brew to work this magickal charm. So mote it be.”

Going counterclockwise, walk around your home with the coconut, and sprinkle a little of the water onto the floors, and especially in front of any entrances.  Do not use all the water.  When you are finished, nail the top half of the coconut to seal the coconut, using all four nails. Leave the coconut` at the crossroads, as an offering to the good Spirits that dwell there.

Caribbean Yuletide Prosperity Spell

Using herbs, roots, and plants native to the Caribbean and Caribbean Magick this spell was cast on a crisp Caribbean evening to draw prosperity and bring about new beginnings.  For this spell you will need the following,

  • one red candle
  • twenty-one pieces of rice
  • nine pieces of fresh coconut peel
  • half teaspoon powdered ginger
  • one bottle of Firewolf’s Silver Stag Potion
  • a small nail or pin

Gather the ingredients of this spell, preferable during the week of the Winter Solstice, to a quiet place where you will be undisturbed.  Using the pin or nail, engrave into the candle’s wax the following: the Eye of Horus, a Dollar sign, the Winter Solstice sigil, and the sign of Jupiter.  Add a few drops of the potion onto the candle. Sprinkle the rice and coconut pieces onto the candle, lastly sprinkle the ginger onto the candle, while staying in your mind,  “This winter spell of prosperity and wealth, may it bring to me success and good health.”  Light the candle and states aloud or to yourself, “Thoughts of Love and Prosperity, this Yuletide blessing will draw to me, wealth and roads, open wide, with the ancient Gods and magick by my side, As I will it so mote it be, correct and done in purity.”  Allow the candle to burn out completely.

New Year's Magick

One Witches View on New Years

Glitter, Tinsel, Horns, and Laughter, these among any things come to mind when New Years is approaching. It is amazing to see how many people celebrate this holiday, it seems that it is the only time religion and race is ignored and people from all around the globe come and take part in this laughter celebration. In the Witches tradition New Years falls on Samhain (October 31, Halloween) , this tradition originates from the ancient Celtic agricultural calendar. In modern America, New Years follows on the first of January 1st (which is based upon the Gregorian calendar) . New Years sparks the imagination with fun and for some empty promises and resolutions for the future year. In Witchcraft and many spiritually based religions making resolutions and plans can become crucial in our lives, for we as witches must make change to better the future for our children.  Using the aid of spells benefits anyone especially those planning to create a New Years Resolution. During the American New Year (January 1st).  I recommend witches and pagans alike take part in this wonderfully enjoyable celebration. It is a wonderful time to cast and charge spells and potions for new beginnings, change, new opportunities, healing past wounds, learning the true mysteries, and focus: especially on plans for the future.

Resolutions

I don’t know how many times people make promises and make resolutions that they know in their minds and hearts are unrealistic. It is important and beneficial to make resolutions and plans and to stick to them! When making resolutions make sure what your planning is realistic so that it will happen. In this process by making resolutions and plans that are realistic it will aid, not only spiritually, but help increase your self-esteem.
